Panda I found, your hideaway inside the clouds.
It won't be long til you fall to the ground.
Panda I see, you and I can never be.
'Cause when I fly you fall, and when you climb I crawl.
So come on by and let's start a fire
Burn the forest down and admire
Soon all that you know will expire
Panda don't lose control.
Panda come down, it's not safe why don't you come around?
Don't you have no doubt we're gonna smoke you out
Panda, Panda, hear my plea. Happiness is domesticity.
Trim your claws and clip your fangs, city life don't need those things.
Do I look human? Do I look human to you?
I know a way that you can look human too.
We can be neighbors, we can be happy and free.
But we are strangers, that shit don't have to be.
Evil walking, coming down to find me.
Evil walking, do I look human to you?
All the boys, all the girls, grab the world
When I was a young man, I always did my part.
You turn around man, you turn me into the dark.
Evil walking, coming down to find me.
Evil walking, do I look human to you?
All the boys, all the girls, grab the world
You can be my friend, we'll live underwater
They can have the land, we don't need it any longer
('cause we'll be underwater)
You can be my friend, we can build a time machine.
Spin the wheel again, we'll do the things we always dreamed.
We can change our names, we can make up new identities.
We can say we're famous, tell everyone that we're celebrities.
Can't stay kids forever
Then the real world catches up
We're all made of paper
The words inside the heart
You can be my best, you can be my worst.
We can glue the halos on our heads, and leave our lives once cursed.
The things we left behind get lost inside our minds
Prisoners in a cage, pay for our crimes
We can go too far, get lost inside the jungle,
With snakes and scary spiders
We don't have to wander
We don't have to wander
We can stay right here, we don't have to go.
Wherever we might be we can call our home.
The second studio release from TV Babysitter--self produced and self recorded (and also the first release from TVBS as a trio!), "Do I Look Human?" unflinchingly continues TV Babysitter's adventurous brand of weird rock! Taking on a more raw and aggressive feel, this album once again showcases thoughtful songwriting and soundscapes/science fiction motifs in true TVBS fashion.
